As schools continue to need to do more with less, this interactive session will provide an opportunity for schools to share experiences with both Banner baseline and modifications. The inspiration for the session is based on Virginia Tech (a historically modification-heavy school) as we currently are reviewing processes to return to baseline functionality, when possible and appropriate to do so. Presenter will lead the discussion based on experiences of working for 8 years at a primarily baseline institution followed by working at a school in a transition period related to modifications. Specific focus will be on academic scheduling/registration but general topics will be also discussed. Please bring your baseline and modification successes and lessons learned. Together, hopefully we can provide inspiration as to when and why modifications have worked or not worked as solutions to problems we face in the Banner Student functional world.
